How to Use Media with ProPresenter

Media works seamlessly with ProPresenter. Follow these steps to download, import, and display Media motion and still graphics in your presentations.

Download Media from Media

Browse the Motions, Stills, or Social libraries. Click on any item to open the detail view. Select your desired resolution (Standard or HD). Click Download to save the file to your computer.

Import Media Files into ProPresenter

Open ProPresenter. Navigate to the Media Bin tab. Drag and drop the downloaded Media files into the bin. Organize your media into playlists or folders as needed.

Add Media to Slides

Select or create a slide in your presentation. Click the Media button (film strip icon) on the toolbar. Choose a Media motion or still from your Media Bin. Resize or reposition the media as needed.

For motion backgrounds, set the media to loop to ensure continuous playback.

Use Media Templates and Pro Layers

Media offers downloadable design templates (called Pro Layers) to enhance your slides.  In ProPresenter, open the Editor for a slide. Drag in the Pro Layer image and layer it behind your text. Adjust text formatting to fit the template’s design. Save as a new template for consistent future use.

The Difference Between a Theme and Template

When working with ProPresenter Themes, we see that a Theme is really just a collection, or folder of various Templates that can be used for your slides. Each Theme can include numerous Templates for slides that range in their looks and intended subject matters. In most cases, a ProPresenter Theme will have a specific subject or style that is shared for each Template within.
